Watching this video makes me physically, emotionally and spiritually ill. With all of the work we're doing to address bullying-- educating people (especially children) how to behave and interact with civility, understanding and kindness--this woman is only one example of how some adults make the task so very difficult.
I think the school superintendent gave a poor interview, and although the reporter asked her repeatedly if the child was being bullied by the adult, the superintendent skirted the question. Instead, she describes the bus driver's behavior as "immature," and "childish."
As of this morning (April 3, 2014), the bus driver has been fired. Why it didn't happen immediately makes me scratch my head in wonder.
